Expectations

I don't think ill get my hopes up
Anymore
For everything just
Goes out of it's way to screw up.

I'm tired of expecting otherwise
Giving second chances away
I've learned my lesson
In believing what you say.

I guess you've exhausted
All my excitement
Now a blank face awaits
Any prearranged so called special occasions

Because I know
It results in false hope
In the end.
